MPPC model + AiT applifier board (Model PB16HB-S113613006)
Three main objectives
- MPPC characteristics: single photoelectron, cross-talk, coincidence rate, electric gain
- LED optical fiber profile measurement (center position and width) with 4 channels
- Cosmic ray muons
Allocated hardwares
- Oscilloscope for signal recording and digitalized
- qIt is connected via Ethernet and allowed to remote control from a PC
- qPC (IFIRSE #7, Ubuntu) is allocated
- MPPC array (model xxx)
- Power board
- Amplifier board
- Plastic scintillator (2.5cm (width) x 25cm (length) x 1.27 cm (thick)) and wavelength shifting fiber (0.9 cm diameter)
- Multi-mode optical fiber (Thorlabs M133L02)
- White LED
- Function generator (model)
