School Schedule
The school will be held from July 15th to July 25th, 2025 Studens should check in on Tuesday July 15th afternoon. The opening session is scheduled to take place on Wednesday July 16th at 8:30. The school will end on Friday July 25th at 15:40 and you can take flight at Phu Cat airport to depart from around 18:00 Session hours are 8:30 - 12:00 and 13:20 - 17:30 All school sessions will be held in the ICISE conference Center
Conference facilities
The following equipment will be available:
video projector for computer presentations,
overhead projector,
internet access will be available at the school site and at the hotel.
A wireless hub is installed and covers the whole conference building.
Accommodation
For both lecturers and students, hotel address is Hai Au Bien Cuong, 08 Bien Cuong, Quy Nhon Nam ward, Gia Lai(previous Ngo May, Quy Nhon city), see on Google Map; about 7km to/from the ICISE center
Travel
There are two main international airports in Vietnam : Hanoi (Noi Bai airport : HAN)
and Ho Chi Minh (Tan Son Nhat airport : SGN). From these airports, you can take a domestic flight to Phu Cat airport (UIH), which is about 30 km from the Quy Nhon city, also your hotel arranged for the school. You also can take train or bus, ~ a half day of transportation. Another choice is to reach the nearest international airport is Da Nang International airport, which is about 5 hours from Quy Nhon city by train or bus. Bus from/to the airport to the ICISE/hotel will be arranged by organizers. However there is no arranged bus from the train station to the hotel.
Immigration / VISA
We will strive to update these informations regularly, but you should make sure they indeed apply before traveling.
All participants do require a visa to visit Vietnam, except for few exemptions listed below. Vietnam Visa exemption is granted to holders of a passport from:
- Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Cambodia and Laos for visits of 30 days at the maximum.
- Philippines for visits of 21 days at the maximum.
- Japan, South Korea, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Russia, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom, Belarus, Northern Ireland for visits of 45 days at the maximum.
To obtain a visa
- you may apply for a conference visa through the Internet: e-Visa
- while filling up the form, on the item "purpose of entry" you should select "summit, conference"
- the e-visa is generally obtained in 4 working days and valid for 90 days. Beyond this delay, you should check your application status by following the instructions indicated on the e-visa application webpage.
- your passport should be valid more that 60 days after date of entry in Vietna
- the e-visa cannot be renewed nor extended
- it costs 25 USD not refundable even when the visa is refused
- You also can apply for a conference visa at the Vietnamese Consulate of your residence country. You may need an official letter from the school organizer for this visa application. Please contact us as soon as possible.
